The Animal Emergency Center of Longmont was founded in November 1999 by Jon Geller D.V.M.  He recognized the need for a facility dedicated to the pursuit of quality emergency care.

We work closely with many area veterinarians to provide after hours hospitalization and monitoring, further diagnostics, and complete surgical facilities.  We communicate regularly with your pet's primary care veterinarian and work closely with all involved to provide the best care available for your pet.  Our goal is to provide care for your pet when your regular veterinarian is not available.

Our Mission at Animal Emergency Center is to provide the highest quality of emergency veterinary care to the pets of Longmont and the surrounding area, and to do so with compassion and integrity.

 We will strive to provide you with the same standards of medical practice and client service as your regular veterinarian, and to be guided in our actions primarily by what is best for your pet.

 It is our belief that every animal has a treatable disease until proven otherwise; in cases where treatment appears hopeless and only suffering remains, we will offer our services to provide a dignified end to the pain.
